Matthew turns three tomorrow. I cannot believe he will be three years old!! I've had a hard time on each of my children's birthdays...you know, believing they were a year older. But for some reason, this one is especially hard. He is my baby, and I can't believe he's not really a baby anymore! We had his birthday party today...just a party for immediate family. He had a blast! Happy Birthday Matt!

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! Here is my extra special Mother's Day gift that Addie made me at school. The homemade gifts really are my favorite!

I'm so sad I missed it Heidi!! I thought about you guys, especially Matt, all day long. Mom said he thanked each person after opening each gift. Precious! I know you must have had a wonderful Mother's Day! See you soon.
I did not know how those hand made gifts would have such an affect on me! For mother's day my son brought home a flower in a pot, and of course he painted the pot but the teacher used washable paint, and everytime you touched the pot you got paint on your fingers- didn't care though. The card he made for me just brought pouring down tears, I will always treasure these items! And I think knowing that another child is going to enter our family I am going through some major emotions so everything Dayne does right know I look at him and see a growing little boy, not baby and I just cry.
Happy Mother's Day to you even though it is late!
