...to a happy and healthy New Year! My prayer is for a safe and fun evening for all of my friends and family, and for the start of a new year with a fresh, new perspective. I still am thinking about my resolution. Mine last year was a huge, huge success for me, so I don't want to let myself down this year. Let me know if you have any good ones. I have 2 or 3 I'm narrowing it down to...I guess it will be a last minute call.
We had a wonderful Christmas. I was off work all last week so it was really nice not to be in a rush for anything, to spend as much time doing whatever needed to be done at the moment, etc. I feel overly blessed with an amazing family, and am so thankful for the time I got to spend with each and every one of them. I am now thankful that the tree is down, that our home is back in some kind of uncluttered order, and that we can begin to look forward to some cold, winter days (it is supposed to snow a little tomorrow night...I wish it would snow 2 feet!).
So, goodbye to 2007, hello 2008. May we all be blessed.....God is so good...Cheers!!

Crazy-Daisy few weeks
We have had a very busy, crazy couple of weeks. I will just update through pictures.
We went to the Holiday Starlight parade downtown a couple of weeks ago. The kids had a blast.
Then Addie and I went on a field trip to visit a Christmas tree farm and petting zoo. We learned all about how and what kind of evergreens grow in our area. It was a really neat trip for her age group.
Her class....
Addie had a gymnastics program/recital/whatever they're called in gymnastics. She did really good and got the only "Perfect 10" from the instructor during her back handspring. She really is talented in this arena.
Matt and I enjoyed a field trip with his class to a Polar Express train ride to the "North Pole". Matt loves trains and he loves all his friends at school, so he was in heaven.
Matt and Addie had a Christmas program/musical at school. Matt's class did a "Merry Hula" theme, and Addie was a horse in a part of the musical.
Matt is in the middle with his hat pulled down low over his eyes...
Addie is on the very far left in the brown sweatsuit (middle row)....
Then, yesterday, we spent the day with Jeff's mom's side of the family. We decorated ginderbread houses together, Santa made a visit, we played at Chick-Fil-A, and then had supper together last night.
Matt's house (I had to help him alot. He was only interested in adding his hot wheels to the decorations and making them drive to the houses)...
Addie's house...
What a ride it's been these last few weeks! I feel like I haven't been to work at all. But, honestly, I am not really exhausted and have tried to relax and soak it all in as it happens and enjoy it. We'll see if that continues these next few weeks. My plans are to have no stress and let my children see no stress. That is not what this season is about. Hope you all do the same!!
