Update

Where has this month gone? This summer is going way to fast. We have spent the last couple of weeks at 2 different VBSs (our kids LOVE VBS and that is one thing we definitely will not say no to), Jeff has already started soccer season/camp, and he has to report for in service in 2 weeks. That is so hard to believe. And I cannot believe that my baby girl is going to be starting kindergarten, and my baby boy will start Pre-K. What in the world? Time goes by so quickly!

Speaking of back to school, do any of you moms out there have any good suggestions on where to buy good kid's tennis shoes? It seems like every pair I buy, I have to replace in about 4 months or so. The very first pair I bought Addie, a pair of leather Merrells, were the best (and cutest) pair I ever bought and held up for over a year. But I can't find any good looking leather ones anywhere now (they are all mesh or something). I just hate to spend money on something that isn't going to hold up...and if it means spending $5-$10 more on a pair that lasts, I am fine with that.

Family Vacation-Summer 2007

Like I said in my last post, we just returned from an absolutely wonderful and very relaxing family vacation. It was a good mix of R&R, kid stuff (go carts, fishing pier, an outdoor play, finding sand crabs with flash lights, of course water activities, etc.), good food, and just good quality time in the car!
